uploaded file name

During my transaction i am uploading a image file.And also i am storing the file name to a database.while modifying the entered details i am populating all the entered field.But my file name is not displaying in my field.How can i display the the file name which i already uploaded.I want to do something like this.
<input type="file" name="filename"><?echo($filename)?>
So that i know the file name i have already uploaded.

Look at
doc/features.file-upload.html in the Online Reference for more.

In your example the filename is stored in "$filename_name"; in "$filename" is the name of the temp file at your server.
You have to change/copy the file from the TEMP-Dir or it will be killed after the end of your script!
