Mime mail

I´m trying to write a send to a friend aplication for the article a samples parts of my company´s web-site. My problem is: Acording to documentation on PHP.net, we can do sometnin like:

mail($toName." <".$toAddress.">",$subject, $message, "From: ".$fromName." <".$fromAddress.">");

But it just doesn´t work in my scrips...
there is something about "<" that messes everithing...
Any help will be relly apreciated

Hi, why dont you see if this works, you had a bunch of weird, and too many fields in the script.

mail("$toAddress","$subject"," $message","From: $fromName $fromAddress");

you only need the extra "" when the reading app requires them e.g. html output like
echo"<input type=\"hidden\" . . ...
