Fopen problems "No Such Process"

I am having trouble running my php script.

I keep getting this error.
Warning: fopen("d:/www/Ome/Faid/newsitems/news.txt","r") - No such process in d:/www/ome/faid/new.php on line 3

trying another script I use the d:/www/ to access files with include().

Is this a server problem? Do I need to set some variables or permissions. It is on an NT system.

if you work with windows platform try this:
$fp = fopen (d:\www\Ome\Faid\newsitems\news.txt","r");

why are you using d:\? use your domain name or ip instead, it is easier for me!
