I know it isn't PHP, but what the heck?

Ok, I'm coding like this:

<ol>
<li>Something</li>
<ul>
<li>dotted something</li>
</ul>
...
</ol>

So... my dotted something, the dots in front of the text are white with black strokes...

Is there ANY way of making them filled with black?

<ul type=circle>

</ul>

<ul type=square>
<li>...</li>
</ul>

<ul type=disc>
<li>...</li>
</ul>
