Problem using ORDER BY..

This is my line,.. and it works by me at home..

"select * from TABLE ORDER BY -ID"

so the rows will be if max ID is 6:
6
5
4
3
...

When i upload that on other server, that stuff doesn't work anymore.. why is that?

Any other definition for ordering so the max ID will be 1st, then maxID-1...

select * from TABLE ORDER BY ID DESC

but why was -ID working by me?

I have never run into that syntax. However, this will do what you want:

select * from TABLE ORDER BY ID DESC;

"DESC" stands for "Descending".
