Adding Time Fields For Total

I have time rows in a table that I need to total. The time is stored in the format: 00:00 (minutes & seconds)

How can I add these together like:

01:30
+

01:30

02:00

How can you add 01:30 to 01:30 and get 02:00?

just make time fields, read them, convert to timestamp and $timestamp1+$timestamp2 and devide through 60 (if you want minutes),
then use mktime() to convert back.
