HELP cases passing parameters..

I have this:
<input type='submit' name='AB' value='A-B' onclick='mostrarA();'>
<input type='submit' name='CD' value='C-D' onclick='mostrarB()...>
<input type='submit' name='EF' value='E-F'>..etc...
On mostrarA() I want to do this:
<a href='\pasavar.php3?vari=A-B'>Pulse aqui</a>;
Is it possible?
in each case I want to call a page using a different parameter.
How can I do that.

It can be done through javascript and php both

onClick="window.location.replace('abc.php?val=something');"><input type='submit' name='AB' value='A-B'></a>

if it's a form that you want to submit then
create an array of different url's
and onclick call a function which will change the action URL of teh form

I put this:

in a .php file but appears an error
<A href='#' onclick... what's the # meaning?

That is in HTMl you have to provide href url at the place where # was present , or when anchors are present #anchor name is given

basically it means their is javascript action on click , but url value according to HTMl is blank .
Is it working or you need to know more feel free to ask ,
