Single or double?

Hi, Simple probably. What is the difference between single and double quotes?

Like:

echo\'Blah, blah\';

echo\"Blah, blah\";

Variables inside single quotes are not expanded. The rest is all the same.

and therefore the single quoted strings are faster ...

[Anon]

... but may possibly be less readable in complex strings/queries.
