Phorum post.php like molasses

I am running Phorum 3.2.11 on FreeBSD, Apache, PHP4, Mysql (latest version) and the script 'post.php' takes a long time to load. About 30 seconds on average.

Any way to speed it up?

im guessing the 30 secs is while your incorrectly configured mail server times out. when you post, it tries to email every previous poster. this is probably where youre getting hung up. unfortunately im not sure how to disable that in phorum, or fix your mail server...

You're right. My mail server had anti-spam parameters set. It looks like it was seeing all the emails as spam. I changed those ettings and it is working great.
