Session Problems !!!!!!

HI!

I have problems using the session() function. If I use in the php.ini the /tmp path my Browser (IE + NS) that he can not open the Path. But if I set the path to c:\WINNT\Temp it works.

But not every user has Win 2000 and so i have to change the varible every time, another user comes to my page.

Is there a way to change this "BUG" or what does I have to do, to change this???

Benjamin, think about it for a minute.

Sessions are stored on the server, not on the client.
The directory in the php.ini is a directory on your machine.
