date calculations.

help !!

i have tried every combo possible and read through the mysql and php manuals but still cannot get date calculations to work with a mysql db

i have a db with various records in with lots of dates throughout the year

i want to be able to pull out all the records that are 7 days or more from today ???

and look for these functions
DATE_ADD(date,INTERVAL expr type)
DATE_SUB(date,INTERVAL expr type)
ADDDATE(date,INTERVAL expr type)
SUBDATE(date,INTERVAL expr type)

should be what you need

example:
SELECT * FROM tbl_name WHERE date_col > date_sub(NOW(), INTERVAL 7 DAY)

ok?
date_col is the columns that holds the dates...
