When you go from
http://www.domain.com
to
https://www.domail.com
you get a different session id. Is there an easy way to track these, or do I have to pass sessions and cookies in a GET method and set the new ones to match the old ones? Can I force the value of a session? Or, do my sessions have to become tag-a-long GET variables?
In theory you'd only have to pass the sessionID along through the URL when moving from one domain to the next. If you store the sessionid in a cookie the browser might refuse to server the cookie because the base URL has changed.
