Another BLOB query

Hi all. I would just like to know where can one find a comprehensive resource about BLOB's. I am picking up bits and pieces as I go along but I would like to know how far can one push the technology.

Please if anyone can just post the url or whatever/where ever it would be greatly appreciated.
