i have a problem with setting up sessions for a site. The session is start successfully and variables are registered. the problem comes in with modifying variables. i cant. once the variable are registered they can not be modified to any other value. this cant be normal, but why?

Have you tried unregistering the vars on the new page then re-registering them?
well i have thought of this and was hoping there was an easier way. but i suppose i will try it now and see what happens . . .um it seems to work but is rather painful. could it be because these variables are originally set through a form? Do they have to be changed on the same page they are set?
