email function problems

Hello,

I am having trouble getting PHP to send email. I always get this error.

Warning: Server Error in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\timesheet\testemail.php on line 10

In my PHP.ini, I have SMTP configured to localhost. Any solutions?

Hi Will,

Is your computer running a mail server?
I'm quite sure that you'll need some form of a mail server running on localhost, if not at least a remote mail relaying SMTP server for mails to be sent. 🙁
