Hi,

Is it possible to declare methods within the class declaration without implementing them on the same location? I would like to have a clean class declaration and then implement the methods beneath the class declaration.

What I want is someting like this:

// Class Declaration
class Foo
{
function DoSomething();
}

// Class Implementation
Foo:😃oSomething()
{
// code goes here
}

Yes, you can do this by inheritening the parent class and then adding your functions to the descentdent. Note that php only allows one level of inheritence. This technique is nice if you want to use your objects in sessions, since PHP doesn't store the procedures for a class object stored as a session var, just the data. (or has that changed lately while I wasn't looking?)

I assume that you're talking about the fact that a class can only extent one class at a time.

I think this isn't a very pretty way to do what I want to do (although it is a good suggestion).

Isn't there a native way to do something like the example that I posted on my last message?
