i need to do the following and i was wondering if there ae ne scripts around i can use as a guide.

I want to be able to detect the users connections speed, Browser, and resolution. Is it possible to achieve this ???

you can try having the user visit a site, and detect how many seconds it took to load it using php.

The only thing is your server may be slow during the test or his/her connection might be slow too. So you would never get a 100% detection.

Or you can ask the user what type of connection he/she uses./
