complex URL help needed

Hi, I have this URL:

echo "<td width=\"13%\"><a href=\"facultyinfo.php?facultyid=$facultyid onclick=\"NewWindow(this.href,'name','200','200','yes')\;return false\;\"\">click here</a></td>\n";

As you can see, I'm trying to execute a small javascript that will pop a new window. Anyway to make this work?

just an idea, in facultyinfo.php, have a function that does the operationg you want, and simply turn it on with the link, such as

link.php?task=java

//inside the page

switch($task){
case "java":
java_function();
break;

then, what ever else you want, or close it off with a
}

But the window is being opened from the previous URL. The previous URL is here:

http://www.geology.ohio-state.edu/test/rfatest/rfadisplay.php

And if you see the "click here" links, I want a small window to pop-up when clicked.

I'm not sure this will help, but this is a link I forgot I was using to pop up a new window and display a picture on a website. I didn't build it myself (WYSIWYG editor built it) so I don't know HOW or WHY it works, but it does.
