i'm hosting my own webpage on PWS (personal web server) and IIS, but when I do file upload, i always get a permission error, i've set every directory to read/write, but nothing works

I am new to IIS but your problem could be
users permission, for the file that you want to upload try to set its permission to everyone and give everyone full control.
