session use cookies

I posted this earlier but here it is again. Is there anyway to determine if session.use_cookies is enabled in the php.ini ? Im looking for anything here people. Can be a built in php function or a little trick someone has created to figure it out. Any help would be great.

get_cfg_var('session.use_cookies');
and
ini_get('session.use_cookies');

will both get values stored in the master value for the variable, check the manual for more info
