I have read many posts on this site regarding the ability to show a 'Please wait while page loads...' feature to scripts that have forms that have to calculate large amounts of data and take a long time to load. I have tried many of them (flush(), ob functions, java, even DHTML) but it seem that the basic nature of PHP doesn't allow what I am trying to do. Is it right that w/ PHP - 1) call to the PHP file 2) script runs 3) page is displayed..?
This seem to be thwarting my efforts although some did work if i refreshed the page. Does anyone have any more ideas?
