Uploading pics

Hi, I am building a site and it allows uploading of pictures...however when I view it on my computer local host, I can see the images...when I go to my friends house I can't see it...is there any reason why they don't show up? the images can be sent and that works ok.

If your paths look like

<IMG SRC="http://localhost/somefile.jpg">

then it wouldn't work, it would be looking up localhost from his computer. If so, use relative paths,

<IMG SRC="somfile.jpg">

or

<IMG SRC="images/somfile.jpg">

or

<IMG SRC="../images/somefile.jpg">
