Ive searched through the forums here to find lots of things and an article pertaining to making a DB call then laying out the records X per page? But is there a way to do one call then display 1 2 3 4 5 then be able to access 5 and display what records should be on page 5 without doing another call? I think ASP has something to save session stuff like that but im not sure at all maybe this cant be done.
I just didnt' want to call up a query figure out its 500 records divy them up a 100 per page then have the link 2 page to be ?page=2 or 200 where it then grabs that number calls the database and displays from there. I would like one call. If its impossible let me know if it isn't id like to hear how or point me where
