When I submit, there is a gap, space within the result, like this:

I want to erase the space within the result! Help me please!

What is it you want to do ?
Make a form select that autogenerates the number of entries in the select field from the number submitted ?
ie. if 5 is submitted, make a selectbox like this:

Or am I way off course ?

The problem is like this, when I assign 5 for variable "menu"/ put 5 in the text box the result is:
1

But I want, like this:
1
2
3
4
5

Is there any posibility to remove the gap/space between the number? Thank You very much!

As Stephen wrote you need to correct the the endtag like this </option> instead of <option>

echo("\t<OPTION value=$i>$i</OPTION>\n");

The reason there was a space is because each time the <option> tag is set, it makes another option for your drop down box, so because the forgot the / (slash) in the ending <option> tag it was output as a blank option.
