Hi,

Rather than generating a message with a

mysql_statement(xxxxx) or die ('message')

configuration, is it possible to use the mail function to generate a 'quick check this problem' email for a site's webmaster? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this can be acheived please?

Try something like this..

$select = mysql_query("select * from table where user = 'blah';",$db);
if(!$select) {
mail("[e-mail]", "Site error!", "email content here", "From: [e-mail]\n");
exit; } // debug email sender
