Hi all
I have a form on page 1 that send 'name' to page 2.
page 2 checks to see if $name exists and if it does echos out another form carrying (among other things)$name in a hidden field to page 3.
on page 3 I session_start(); Then the script checks to see if $name has been carried over in the hidden field (if not echos out $an_error_message) and if so echos out another form with one field 'mail'.
When I hit 'Submit' I get the $an_error_message mentioned above and the page is still page 3 and NOT page 4 as specified in the form action!
Is this a session problem or is my understanding of forms amiss?
I'm sure this is an obvious error but I'm very new to php and forms.
