I would like a script to run every hour. Is this possible. If so what functions or methods should i look at.

Im not sure if IIS has a service like this but for apache you will want to use cron. you can search the forum and find useful information about it.

you can set up routines/scripts to run daily weekly monthly ect...

There maybe other ways, this is one option.
