Hi there, i have a simple question. This script was working properly for a few months until yesterday. This is the line which isnt working.

fopen("http://p.moreover.com/cgi-local/page?c=Southeast%20Asia%20news&o=xml","r");

i commented out all the code after that and the error i get is on this line, but i cant figure out the problem.This is the error:

Warning: fopen("http://p.moreover.com/cgi-local/page?c=Southeast%20Asia%20news&o=xml","r") - Success in /home/allen/public_html/grab.php on line 2

Why does it say success when actually it hasnt been succesful?

I just tried to open http://p.moreover.com/cgi-local/page?c=Southeast%20Asia%20news&o=xml in my browser and it dies. Looks like it isn't your problem but I am not certain.

Looks like the xml file or he dtd are screwed up.

why are you using the fopen() function anyway? I not sure on this, but I don't think you can read information into PHP from a file that does not exist.

http://p.moreover.com/cgi-local/page?c=Southeast%20Asia%20news&o=xml

only can be generated on-the-fly if called by a browser.
