regular expression in php

I need a regular expression help for the following situation:
The input would be a HTML file. Now this html file would contain only one table with 4 columns and n number of rows. There can be any thing before and after the table. Now i need to capture the information in these columns and store it in a database, especially Mysql. I need a regular xpression in php to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

now, the $data contains all the info. e.g.
$data[0] // has all the text including the HTML tags for column and row

$data[1] // has only the text inside a column
