forms & php session vars. URGENT

the problem is as follows:
I have 2 session_register()ed vars and I want my script to pass them to itself through the form. But after the [submit] of the form, these vars remain as they were before. Just as if my script forgot how to handle POSTed variables. My script starts with session_start() and two session_register()'s. What do I do wrong?

please help, it's pretty URGENT

If you have setup your session vars to be registered as globals, they will allways override any post or get var that has the same name.

I believe the answer is "You can't do that". It would be a security hole if form variables could overwrite session variables.

The easy answer is to either don't register them as session variables (Since you are passing them between forms anyhow) or to store the info in the session variable before moving on to the next form.
