checking for a link

Is it possible to write a php script that loads up another website on another server, search through the html code, and return true if it finds a link in it that I specify, and return false if the link is not found. If you know how to do this, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

you can do this with only a couple lines of code. it sounds like you know exaclty what you want, just find the functions that do it. the php manual is a good place to start.
