Is there any difference between the echo and print functions, or are they the same (they seem the same to me)?
Echo is the older 'version' of print and was in PHP2. The difference is that echo is more of a statement and behaves more like an operator than a function, whereas print is a function.
Which is faster? Which one should be used when either will work?
I would imagine echo is a little faster, allthough the difference we are talking about is sooooo small it's hardly worth mentioning. :=)
