Cookie expiry

Hello everyone I'm havin' an interesting problem with cookies and IE.

Here it is:

I have a cookie setup as follows:

setcookie($name,$value,$expire,"/",$domain,0);

now $expire is set to: time()+30 (because i want it to expire in 30 seconds)

Now i have IE setup to prompt me with cookies so I can view the cookie information and it tells me that it is going to expire at thurs march 29 2001 18:24:18 when i set the cookie at thurs march 29 2001 12:24.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I may be wrong but a possible reason is time zone difference in the server versus client computers. All php info is server side.

Yea the date / time are the same between client and server - pretty weird one hehe!

(either that or i don't know what i'm doin'!)
