I have a file upload form on one of my pages, and i can upload ascii files; however, when i try to upload an image, it gets garbled. I have tried in php3.0.16. php3.0.17, php3.0.18 and the latest version of php4
Any ideas?
I finally found the solution to my problem, if anyone wants to know. The REDHAT packages of PHP have a bug in them for uploading image files. It inserts the mimetype into the headers of the file causing an image viewer to not understand the file. Their is a temporary fix to this on php's site. It is a function that someone wrote and is posted in the users comments on the "handling file uploads" page.
