Hello, I'm trying to create a crontab file...
1. crontab -e
2. I can't type anything unless I start with / (why is that?)

Your default editor is probalby VI. Look here for how to use it: http://www.cis.udel.edu/~totten/vi/

Or type 'man vi'.
