magic_quotes_gpc

I need to enable magic_quotes_gpc so that phpmyadmin works properly. Can someone explain to me how I can do this?

Find and edit the file php.ini located somewhere on your server. On mine (running RH Linux and Apache) it's located in /usr/local/lib - mileage may vary.

Edit it. Look for the magic_quotes settingk, and turn it on or off. (it says on/off after the =)
