I'm writing a mailing list manager for a client which distributed plain text emails generated from a form to subscribers held within a mysql db.
However, whenever they post a message with an apostrophe contained within it, the resulting mail prefixes it with 3 back-slashes. ie - inform's becomes inform\\'s.
I'm sure this is probably a very simple problem, but any help would be appreciated.
In the server environment magic-quotes-gpc are on, magic-quotes-runtime are off.
Many Thanks,
