Php on win98Se?

Greetings,

Im trying to set up Php4 on a win98se box. Im using apache (up and running) with MySQL(up and running) but im having a hard time with Php? Has anyone done this? If anyone can help I would sure love to hear how ya did it.

Hi,
I had terrible trouble doing the same thing and eventually I found this site
www.nusphere.com where you can download a completly set up developement envoirement including Apache,PHP,MySQL,Perl and some other stuff.
I have had no problems with it and am well pleased with the package.

Thanks for responding. No i guess I dont but it is not to intuitive on how to set that up. I have apache running and MySql installed. Apache is running fine. The db seems to be also but I am having trouble with Php? How do you integrate Php with Apache?

you need to add some lines to the apache configuration file.
open your ..\apache\conf\httpd.conf file and add the following lines.
scroll down to the section Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) Support.
after all the comments(#) add the following lines:
LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php4

change the directory of above (c:\php) to your php installation directory.
