db2 functions

How do you connect to db2. Does php have built in funtions?

Hi,

I've never used DB2 or any other Database functions except MySQL, mSQL, msSQL, and Postgresql.

Anyway, this is what I came across:

About 1/4 way down, you'll notice it mentions, compile with --with-db2

1. You need to install"
   "DB2 Client Install" also called "DB2 Connect". There are some other ODBC vedors like HitODBC, iODBC etc...

2. Set the System or User DSN

3. Use Universal ODBC function in PHP to connect to DB2, infact any Database.
