Identifier Error, Multiple Matches

Ok I wrote this script to do a WWWHOIS and gave the user an option of several whois servers here is the code:

Now I had had the php function read from it like this

function wwwhois($target){
$server = $selection;

where it use to be $server = "whois.internic.net";

and I end up getting an error like this when attempting to whois

Warning: Unable to find file identifier 0 in /home/knight/scriptparadise-www/hvnqt/indextest.php3 on line 182

What have I done wrong?
