Email problem

Hello,
I have a problem emailing using mail().

I am typing:

<?php
mail($emailaddress, "ShareMap -> Your Account Details", "From: ".$emailaddress)
?>

but I get the error message:

Warning: Failed to Connect in C:/Apache/htdocs/emailaccountdetails.php on line 2

Can you help?

It appears you haven't done the php setup that is required for using mail() on windows. Unix machines pretty much all have a local MTA called sendmail, that can also accept command-line parameters to send mail, and this is what mail() uses by default. On NT, you need instead to configure php so that is know where it can reach an SMTP server on the net somewhere (which could actually be the local machine if it's running some kind of smtp server.)
