templates without altering /root files?

Anyone recommend a good, robust template system that won't have me messing with my php.ini or suchlike?

Reason is I don't have /root access.

There's no reason to need to mess with anything as root to use any templating system that I know of.

Using inlcudes() at the top of your pages if you can't use .htaccess files, or you arn't root, is an ok replacement to modifying the include_path in the .ini
