Hi all:
I just looked about here on phpbuilder.com for an answer but could find none specific to my situation:
Upon submission of an HTML admin form, a new window opens up ( <form method="POST" action="blah.php" target="_blank"> ) so that the administrator can switch back and forth between the website he is updating and the admin section itself, checking updates and inserts as he goes.
But the set of session vars registered in the original window are not passed to the new window, this means that upon returning to the original window all the original session vars have now been killed off!
I know for sure that the original vars have been registered because I echo them to the page. But as soon as the new window of the admin section opens-up and the user returns to the original window all original vars are lost?!!
I have tried session_register('all_required_vars'); in the new window but to no avail.
Can anyone help me out or point me to a method of passing vars to a new window such as I have in this situ'??
Many thanks!
Russ
