so i went through the whole process of storing the binary to a file in a mysql database. i am having a little trouble figuering out how to read the file again once i load it. has anyone done this before that can help me?

I don't understand what you mean by "read it". Are you trying to query for it and then display it in the browser, or are you trying to simply make the file available for the user to download? What KIND of binary?
