Including Functions

Sorry if this sounds stupid but I am real new to this.... about 3 days 🙂

I am a Foxpro programmer and we can set functions we use alot in a procedure file.

How would I do this in PHP3?

I would like to add variables there too. Like I always use

$db_host = "www.something.com"

Can that go into a file that I just need to point to? I only want to maintain it in one place.

Any help would be great.

Put it all in one file and use include() or require() to be able to access them from a script/page. You can look up any details in the manual.
