DB feilds query

Mornin' all
I'm going to put all the 'text' for my pages in a DB (MySQL) as raw text and then print them out to a template.

What happens when I want to include a link in the body of the text? I don't want HTML in the text as that would defeat the object!

Same goes for <p></p> and <b></b> for that matter?

if you store the data in a feild that is defined as "text" then unless you remove the HTML tags it will store the HTML data, and when you echo it to the browser, it will see it and add line feeds for BR's etc, if you want to remove HTML tags seach for the carrots and remove what is inbetween them, or be lazy and just remove the carrots
