Text in database.

Hi,
this is a simplified version of an earlier post.

I understand that it's good practice to keep web content free of formatting when stored on a database.

What happens when I want to include a link in the text?

blah blah FOLLOW THIS LINK! blah blah

Then you would probably have to have the <a href=whaatever>FOLLOW THIS</a> in your text....

But for most links and stuff if they are important to the database like emails, urls ect should have their own field so you can just call those at certain places on the page or whatever. but if you are just going to have a blob of text with links all over the place you would probably have to do it that way.
