Best way to do tutorial

I am working on a tutorial for electrical engineers. My tutorial has several pages. What is the best way to do navigation. I want to add (Back | Next) at the bottom of each page so if someone is in page 5 and clicks on Next, the site will take hime to page 6.

Is this going to be generated via a database? or are you just doing consecutive html pages?

You could have page 1.html then on that have a next link to 2.html then on their have a link to back goto 1.html and next goto 2.html hehe can you be a little clearer about the project?

Simple next/previous buttons work fine, but also add a link to the 'table of contents', in case someone wants to go from page 1 directly to page 7.
