is there a way to upload a MS word_doc into a database and then output to a web page within html.

The problem

flow chart is embeded within a MS word_doc, I want the user to upload the word doc into a SQL server database, Then I want to output that MS word_doc onto a HTML page so the user can view the flow chart.

any suggestions?

Basically, require the viewer to have MS word installed, and make sure it launches whenever he clicks the word document. Converting to MS documents to HTML with third party software is always a bit tedious, because you tend to loose information in many cases (since their formats are not open). The best solution ofcourse is to have the word user convert to html before uploading it, but this would probably requre separate image files etc. Let me know if you find a good way to do this, it would be interesting 🙂

(And just pray that no compentent people have to edit the .html documents produced by word =b)
