I have a report creation page, which creates a nice HTML report, while in the background it writes a text version of the report to disk. I need to be able to write that text file with a unique name, so that if two people both try to create a report at the same time, there's no problems on the server.
Basically I need a way of making a temporary file, with the filename being unique.
Anyone done this kind of thing?
